Perspective

Another experiment with fast fiction.

Perspective

Francine startedtreadmill the treadmill, blinking back tears.

A sister overdosed, a brother MIA overseas. And Jack was cheating on her again! The gym was her only solace.

Stella, in dowdy size 16 sweats, glanced enviously at Francine’s taut physique.

“If I had a body like that,” she thought, “my life would be perfect.”
