Are any of you familiar with reverso poems (also known as reverse poems)? Reverso poems are written to be read both forwards and backwards. Sometimes the reverse is read word for word; more commonly it’s line for line. Often the reverse version will relate an entirely different viewpoint from the original. I’ve just discovered them, and in my opinion they are quite the challenge! A little more information about reversos can be found here:
Here is my first try at a reverso. What do you think? I didn’t really reverse the point of view, but many of the words take on a whole new meaning in the second version. How many double meanings can you find?
